Flight Attendant Reveals 12-Hour Cabin Outfit, No One Prepared for It

An air hostess has shared one of the biggest differences between that job and her other role as a nurse. Hannah Kimmel took to TikTok to show the different shoes she wore for 12-hour shifts at each job, showing just one of the ways one differs from the other. In the clip, we see her showing off her stylish high heels while on shift as an air hostess, followed by a clip of her comfortable and practical sneakers she wears as a nurse. The Chicago-based flight attendant told Newsweek: "I work both jobs as a nurse and flight attendant, on different days of course."

Kimmel said: "Both jobs are ones that require me to be on my feet a lot, and because of that, I love to share the shoes I wear. The heels are not required for flight attendants, but I love wearing them because, at my other job, I wear scrubs and sneakers all day so it's fun for me to dress up on the plane." Kimmel's video received quite the response with more than 2 million views since it was first shared on December 14, as well as over 257,000 likes and hundreds of comments with people sharing their reactions. Speaking about the reaction to her video, Kimmel told Newsweek: "[There were] Iots of different reactions, but the heels are not required!" In the comments section of the video, Kimmel said that the heels she wore when she was on shift as a flight attendant were from Galley Girl, which she says are "very similar to Clarks" and "very comfy after you break them in." She also said that her work as a nurse comes in handy "if there is a medical emergency on board." According to career experts Zippia, there are "over 89,677 flight attendants currently employed in the United States," and 78.9 percent are women. Consumer Shield reports that there are over 5 million nurses in the U.S. People shared their thoughts on Kimmel's video in the comments section. Aoife Maher wrote: "I'm still so impressed and fascinated everyday by how you do both jobs." "They are so cute," posted Emills. Abby shared: "I broke my ankle wearing heels for 2 hours." "Idk [I don't know] how you wearing them heels as a flight attendant for a whole duty day. As soon as those doors close the flats come on," commented @lalalalalalapop.
