Beijing is showcasing its artificial intelligence industry through a June 10–13 media programme focused on humanoid robots and emerging applications.

The visits include robotics businesses and training facilities, offering a look at the infrastructure being developed to move embodied AI into everyday settings. Examples include Galbot robots used in beverage retail, where machines must combine perception, manipulation and customer-facing tasks.

The programme also covers research at the Chinese Institute for Brain Research. Together, the visits show the breadth of the city’s technology clusters, linking laboratories, training environments and businesses working to turn experimental systems into practical tools.
