China’s Consul General in Perth, Fu Lihua, has called for closer cooperation with Western Australia in an article published in The West Australian on October 1.
In the signed commentary, Fu identified intelligent industrial upgrading and green transformation as areas with potential for practical collaboration. She also highlighted education, tourism and cultural exchanges as part of the bilateral relationship.
The article presented China’s policy perspective on openness and trade, and expressed the consulate’s willingness to support exchanges. It is a diplomatic statement of priorities, rather than the announcement of a new bilateral agreement or a specific funded project.
